I don’t think there is any real way to protect ourselves, probably leaving civilization and living in a cave. Humans are born to be addicted. If you aren’t addicted to something then you have ADD.

The IGF exists to reward innovation. This Pirate Kart represents the things that we – [NUMBER OF] authors – consider to be truly innovative. What is a Pirate Kart? A Pirate Kart is inclusive: all are welcome to come and be a part of it, and many people contributed their games to the IGF Kart. A Pirate Kart is a celebration of spontaneity and creativity: the IGF Kart was assembled, with the frenetic energy and spirit that is usual for this kind of endeavor, in the weekend before the IGF deadline. Most of the games in this Kart were made in a few hours – each represents a single idea explored. Copy paste error in the swf embed code. In firefox, it uses the path from “

I should make a wordpress plugin so I can just do and it’ll generate the crazy embed code.

And/or I shouldn’t post stuff at 5am. Anyway, it should be fixed now.

Do want. I wish I had the room and the cash for one of those. I think if I had either one of those, I’d find a way to make it happen. I really hope Winnitron takes off in a big way since it’d be really cool to make arcade games to be played by people all around the world. We have a hackerspace that was recently set up here in Tampere, so I think that’d be one really good place to build and set up a cabinet.
